Default Computer peeps...

...One of my rigs died abuot 3 or 4 days ago. Just completely stopped working all of a sudden. Found out I'm gonna need a new mobo and CPU. Can you guys reccomend a good mobo and cpu?
I was thinking about:
AMD Athlon XP 2400+ and
[Biostar] NForce 400 M7NCD mobo....(don't neccasarily want a biostar-brand mobo, but i do want to get an NForce mobo) ...oh yeah, i will be running a 256mb GForce 4 4600 for my graphics card...

what would you guys recommend? I want something with medium to high performance, but I don't want to spend mad $$$ since this is my media/music/etc rig, as opppsed to my gaming rig.
thanks

Abit KV8 Max 3 is pretty good, but I'm not too familiar with AMD chips.

www.newegg.com

as for motherboards, I would recommend any K7 from Asus, Abit, and MSI. Usually they're within the 80+ range

yeah, my 4-year old asus mobo is the one that just died...I'm runnin an asus on my other rig as well, been very happy with the brand. Also, do you think I should order parts off of ebay, or just stick to newegg? The reason i ask is because i have some money in one of my paypal accounts that i could use on ebay...
thanks
