Default Computer Peeps

I know a bit in the general area of computers, but not the specs and all that crap, but I was wondering if the memory from a Toshiba would work with a Dell. Both laptops. Looks like it will, but what does the PC2100 part mean? If I got some, can i get like 333mghz instead of the 266 w/o a problem? And same thing w/the PC2100 part.. can I get one of the steps up and it work fine, or do you have to change something else for that to work?

Toshiba: 512MB PC2100 DDR SDRAM Memory Module

Dell: 256 MB DDR 266MHz SDRAM standard

Thanks

As long as the physical stick will fit, you should be able to get PCXXXX anything higher than 2100 and it shoudl work fine.
