we put peanut butter in the humane traps cause its smell carries really far. we put easy cheese in the good killing traps, under the little thing they have to hit to set it off. that way they have to get under it to get it off and it comes right down on their head.
Use peanut butter and a mouse trap....mice and rats cannot resist peanut butter and the trap will snap their neck clean and simple, dispose of carcass then clean and reload the trap until they are gone.
Hate to say it but if you saw one there are probably 20 more somewhere around there.

Usually rinsing it under warm running water should do the trick. Also remember to change the peanut butter every couple days or it will start to get nasty, especially if it is hot.
Humane traps in my opinion are BS...yeah they make you feel like your doing the right thing but if you kick them out into an empty lot or whatever they will just move on and become someone elses problem. Snap em clean and swift because mice and rats are capable of reproducing every 14 days or so and they have litters of 12 or more at a time.

Rat traps are ****ing intense
You guys might remember my rat problem. I bought some BF-rat traps at Home Depot and placed them around the heater and behind teh washer/dryer. I took Nightshade's suggestion and put peanut butter too. Within a few days we found the foot-long rat with it's brain stuffed in. Rats don't fawk with this nigga :squint:
