You must be some sort of idiot. As an intelligent union worker, I know that the purpose of a strike is to hurt the profits of a company if the company is not willing to negotiate fairly.

And they are protesting a nations gas prices so jamming up traffic in a major area of California means delays in many major and key industries that inconveniences the nation in general which brings the white houses attention to the situation immediatley.

Seems like its exactly what a strike is supposed to do....except its not their company they are striking against, instead it is national price gouging

It would be more effective if every trucker on every major highway in Cali did so.

That is just the I-5, I was on the I-5 several days ago

I-5 is a major traffic vein and as you can see it caused quite a delay all over town. So basically speaking it was effective and it got its point out and the attention they were seeking in this issue.

If you were an owner operator instead of just an operator I am sure you too would have done the same thing if you had been in LA that day

you're already bitching about it, if they had done more, would you have ever shut up about it. they seem to have gotten the attention they needed for their purposes. Someone in Maryland is now aware of the gas hike problem in California and is sympathetic.

Thats protesting. I didn't like the comment that was said about striking and how it is made to be inconvenient towards the public.

That was my doing. Puffy wrote that it was a strike, and I took his word for it.
