Ouch, just because some attendant couldn't earn their fraction of minimum wage, some guy who wanted to pump his own gas has to pay $3000? What if they make you wait 15 min longer than needed, forget your gas cap, or spill gas on your paint? Do you get to charge the station an exorbitant fee?

Actually, are you expected to tip them? Also, are there signs at the stations telling people they aren't allowed to pump their own gas?
