Default Bay Area People "Half Moon Bay"

Hey all, I'm in the process of buying a house that they call a PreFab and I can have it delivered to any location.

What's Half Moon Bay like in the Bay area.

When the marine layer fog comes in (which is quite often), it can get downright freezing in Half Moon Bay It's an Oregon beach kind of cold, which is not to my liking at all. A bit further down the peninsula, near Santa Cruz would somewhat less prone to this effect. Moving inland a few dozen miles- Gilroy, for instance, would also work if you want warmer weather. FWIW, I'd pick a sunnier area, somewhere near Laguna Seca. h:

Half Moon Bay tends to have the coldest summer weather of the Bay Area Region, and the during the winter, it is likely to remain overcast and drizzly. Consider it a slice of the Oregon Coast grafted onto the Peninsula and you're not too far off.

Half moon bay is past pacifica, sorta beach town. ONe thing to consider is that the people that live in half moon bay, and pacifica tend to paint their houses queit often, like every 2 years becasue of the salt in the ocean. The cars paint are also damaged alot too. I drove by highway 1 from santa cruz to the bay and i noticed a thick layer of crap on my car from the fog that was rollin in that day. Looks like a very nice house though, how much is it for the house to be put there? I know they usually do the install u just by the house and the lot. Also have u found a lot in half moon bay?

If Moss Beach is anywhere near Moss Landing... it's a quaint little area between Santa Cruz and Monterrey
