I don't believe race or what your primary language is has anything to do with your intelligence. In my math class, the black girl who sits next to me tutors me. In my english class, a Slavic girl (accent and everything) has a better grasp of the fundamentals of the english languange than anyone else in the room. I hate it when I hear "I'm African-American so they don't like me" or "I'm white so they chose the Asian girl over me". Suck it up and drive on. Who cares what you do outside of that test? I can tutor people in Spanish but I can't ace a test to save my life and my test is what the instructor looks at.
