Hmmm. I hear you there, although I halfway remember them being aluminized, like the Dynamat ExtremeLiner. Granted, I would only recommend it an app wher the mean temp inside the case wasn't much higher than 90°F. Definitely not for the MicroPC crowd. I've used Dynamat Extremeliner on a few FrankenMacs (all of them built inside rather generous cases) over the years, and it's worked well. h:

 

Hah... I did an install for a guy once... he wanted NO noise at his workstation whatsoever... so what we did was install the computer down the hall, and used an USB->Enet->USB transceiver to his actual work space about 50" away. Setting up that computer was creepy (You can only hear your breathing and the clicking of the keys)

:eek3: I'll bet. Although, if he's doing MIDI composing or other audio mastering work, I can see how HD noise could be a real pain.

I've helped set up sound studios before, and yeah... but this was just cause he was rich and insane.
