The Koran is taken out of context. Ive read the parts that they use to justify killing people. Its like reading a passage from "Go Dog, Go" and saying it justifies killing gay baby whales.

If I were a US citizen, I would vote for Bush so he gets re-elected so it will piss off all the rabid bush haters. Oh, and I feel his handling of the war on terror is great, and his support for Israel is great, which to me, are the most important issues.

 

Well if it is taken out of context explain to me why the only really "peaceful" muslims are here in the states, and even here, several clerics have been arrested for laundering money to terrorist organizations....Over in Iraq and such, look at the leaders of those mosques, do you ever see them talk about welcoming and loving each other..no it's hate the Americans..blah blah blah....It seems to me, it's the American Muslims taking their own Koran out of context.

Islam has always been about hate clear back to when Abraham cast ishmael out, stupid Abraham..if he had only listened to God, and not had immoral relations with his maid, we would have no Islam, we would have no mid-east problems...Stupid stupid Abraham....(If you dont know, Abraham had had Ishmael out of an immoral relationship and ended up kicking him and the mother out, after which Ishmael hated Abraham, and Ishmael is where we get Islam...)

 

I donno man I dont have a Koran on me to tell you. I do however challenge you to find one passage in the Koran that explicitly says to kill others where you find them.

I dont like those radical Muslims any more than you do, but you cant go blaming every single Muslim. Look at Turkey, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Morroco, Algeria, and the Arabs in Israel. All Muslims, and not exactly hotbeds of hatred for the US.

The reason why they hate the US(and Israel) is because countries like Iraq, Syria, etc. all have shitty disctatorships where life is crap. They blame all their problems on the "godless American heathans" and other B.S and since theyre all so brainwashed, they will belive anything.

Alot of it ties into the fact that those countries are also completely ****ing ass-backwards and totally hypocritical(my dad saw one of the Saudi princes at Ceasers Palace, and gambling is a no-no of the Koran).

I do know the story of Ishmael, being Jewish Ive stuided the old Testamanet quite well.

Personally, I think most American Christians seem to take the Bible out of context. The ones who really have it right bomb abortion clinics. Oh, and lets not forget lynching gays.

What I find amazing is that the majority of the Arab/Muslim countries do not deal in diplomacy like the rest of the world has learned. Unlike China that figured out they had to join the world community and play by the world community rules they insist on trying to get the world to change to their way. Which if you ask me is stuck in their own "dark ages". Almost every Arab/Muslim country oppresses their people...or atleast there is no democracies. The only democracy in the middle east is Israel...which they are hell bent on destroying even if it means they destroy themselves.
