go get it X-rayed again, if need be, by a different office

 

you x ray should show a big decay in your tooth.

i had to have one done. i have a great dentist, didn't hurt that much just annoying.

damn glad i did it.

one of his patients had 3 root canals and 4 bridges done in one year. i was shocked.

 

Root Canals really aren't that bad, I had one and it didn't hurt at all, they didn't even put me under or give me a local anesthetic (because my tooth was already dead). You won't be able to notice the difference before and after, so if they say you'll need one maybe you should go ahead and get it. And if your tooth does die before you get one it'll start to turn black :exnbp:

 

My tooth isn't dead. The nerve was going bad I guess, but it's alright now. I'm gonna have it done anyway. Now I just worry about the procedure itself. I have a hard time trusting dentists because of a traumatic childhood experience. :sad:
