root canal (serious replies only)
Cliff notes:
A few weeks ago, a nerve went bad in my mouf and I hit up the dentist. They took some x-rays and ish, and then put me on medication. The dentist said that if in 10 days the swelling doesn't go down, then I need to get a root canal. They scheduled me for one too (but I was busy that day and rescheduled for April 9). So 10 days later (when my medication ran out) I called and said that it's back to normal and it doesn't hurt anymore. No swelling even. They said that I still need to get a root canal because the swelling only went down because of the medication. They said that it will hurt again soon, and I still need to get one.
After 4 weeks, it feels as if nothing was there at all. It's completely back to normal.
Here's my question:
Should I still get one even though it doesn't hurt? Is it really necessary or are they just trying to get my moneys?
kthx
