15 gigs of space allows for several thousand songs ~10 k if im not mistaken, which imo is plenty. Im not knockin the apple ipod, dont get me wrong its a great mp3 player, but for $100 less the dell dj is just as good, plus it recieved a good write up from consumer reports.

So, as a brief summary, do it

The iPod's a much better designed machine, and I'd rather spend the money for better product... Even if the specs are "comparable", the iPod is a much better and slicker machine (ie better headphones, remote on headphone cable, better interface and easier navigation, etc).

The choice is yours... OBX or Comptech?

PS If you're a student, you can pick up the iPod for like $30 cheaper.

Both have the same quality. This choice is between Mugen (bling) and SMSP/Hytech.

sorru 15 gig's does not equal to 10,000 songs. Unless each song is 1.5 mb's then i doubt you'll get anything close to 10,000 songs. You will get around 3,700. For good quality songs.

Does your campus have a store that sells Apple computers? If it does, then you can get it there for cheaper... and check out store.apple.com. You can get student discounts through there too.
