Default My civic hatch photos - Finally

I know I'm slackin'. I swapped it almost a year ago. I've had this web address for a few months now, but never got around to posting them.

For anyone that doesn't know how worthless of a swap I performed (d15b7), I'll just let you know I go 44mpg on any American highway, 45mph in 1st gear, 75mph in 2nd, and 1800 RPMs=60 mph (Edit: In 5th gear). I have "after" timeslips that I need to get scanned that show I shaved over 2 seconds by just adding 8 valves to a CX. It runs great, and I think it looks damn good. Best of all, I built it and did all the work myself. I hated Hondas until I built my own, but I'm still a DSMer at heart.

Check it out...

I'll have more pics coming soon. I built a custom rear cargo cover and installed a pair of '93 teggy seats. I don't have any pictures of that yet.

44mpg. Damn. That right there is something to be proud of. I wish I could get low to mid 30's. Great job.

Wow, I thought this thread would die and disappear. Thanks for the compliments guys. That 44mpg average is Highway-only driving. If I do nothing but city miles, I get about 30 mpg, and I'm happy with that. Just goes to show you how the only reason a CX is fuel efficient is because of the gears. Maybe one of these days it will get wheels and paint, but I have to finish my other project first...

...what am I doing still sitting around? My GSX's motor was just finished, so I need to go pick it up and turn myself into a very very poor man.

Thanks again,

Here it is after a thorough cleaning with degreaser and shop rags...
