I don't speed period, so I guess I must not be an enthusiast. The point is speeding is bad, and at night its worse. It brings pictures of that M Coupe that got wrapped around a telephone pole after the driver went off doing 120+. The guy survived and last I heard was scared to go over the speed limit. Do I have the urge to speed? Yes, have I done stupid things like go 130 mph? Yes, but I learnt my lesson after almost losing control a few times. There are many roads around here where there isn't another car in sight that cops don't patrol that I could tear up. I don't because I love my car too much, thats why I took to more constructive forms of entertainment... driving a truck through abandoned roads and trails in the middle of nowhere. I used to do that with a Civic but crossing little rivers in Civics aren't fun, a 4x4 truck does much better.

Wasn't preaching... was waiting for the :slap: for driving a Civic through a river. I swear it was a lot of fun... driving down a narrow gravel road and lo behold the road ends and its a fun little stream. Downshift into first and drive across the stream and back onto the gravel road. :chuckles: I stopped after I blew a tire in the middle of nowhere.

I really want to do a 4x4 conversion to my Accord. Raise it a few inches, put some stubby tires and take that thing back to those roads.
