does anyone have a dog that has bad seperation anxiety?,..if so,..is there a way to get them to overcome the seperation anxiety? my dog (he is a year and 5 months) has it real bad,..even when im just taking out the trash,..i come back into the house and he goes nutts acting like ive been gone for a week

 

smack him around until he's afraid of you

 

dogs are like that!! i have 3 chihuahuas and i go to the restroom and when i come out it seems as they have this homecoming for me at the restroom door!!

 

Take him with you.

 

My mom's dog is like that. its a toy poodle, and even if you go out of the house for 30 seconds and come back in the dog goes nuts when it sees you.

 

I read somewhere that dogs have no sense of time. To them, it's the same if you go on a 3-month vacation, or take a 3-minute trip to the mailbox. :dunno:

my dog sits and waits at the door till i come out too :happysad:

i do sometimes when its warm,..but when its cold i cant because he gets cold easily and shivers like crazy until he warms up,..and i cant take him in the car with me because he just wants to run around in the car and all over my lap,..he's nuts

 

get him a buddy to hang out with or leave the tv on that helps some pets

 

yea my girl wants another dog but i dont know yet,..and we do leave the TV on,..it doesnt help

 

buy him some toys!!!
