I got a set of factory EG seats in a spare bedroom upstairs. I put GS-R seats in my EG so I just left those inside. I was going to mount some rails and some sort of base one them to make a set of indoor seats but I never did.

Yep. My Sparco Sprints were converted to house duty after I sold my then-beat GTi. I even used the old seat mounts as the base - to which casters are bolted to serve as feet. One stays by the window for a spot to lounge and study. The other will move out to the PS2 when I use it on [some] weekend nights. Works great, and they're quite comfy. h:

I don't know what to do with my EG seats. I don't want to sell them in case I sell the Recaro's... I wanted to make one a computer chair, but they are fuggin' heavy.

I'd build a square-ish base out of heavy bar-stock, and pick up some casters.
Use the bar stock to build seat bases and attach the casters to serve as legs. Then bolt the seat sliders to the bar stock frame. Basically it's what I've done with my Sprints (to build low height lounge chairs)

EDIT: To make one into a computer chair is gonna take some creative fabrication work to adapt the EG seat to the base of GI-issue computer chair.. Assuming you wanted to keep the stock tilt and height adjustment features, you'll need to fab an adapter plate to bolt on top of the stock seat hardpoints.
Still, it shouldn't be too hard.
