I actually used to be pretty good at sewing. I made a couple pairs of pants and some shirts myself in fact h:

Nothing wrong at al with knowing how to sew or being good at it. I suppose if you are still hung up on what a "real man" is supposed to be then a persons 12 year old mentality may say sewing isn't cool but that would also mean that their opinion is worth nothing.

I know how to sew, but I'm not that great at it. It's funny, because I used to have to sew stuff for my ex...like I had to sew the patch on her karate uniform for her since she had no idea how to do it.

back in high school i did a cross-stitch project for art h: ,..took me like a month to finish but i got a 100% :happysad:

I'm a homophobe, and I know how to sew, and don't see anything wrong with it.

nothing wrong w/knowing how to sew...maybe your friend just gave u a curious look..."like wat is he doing?"...or maybe it's not the sewing..but it's the fact that you're trying to save a pair of jeans..and he probably thinks that u should get a new pair instead of keeping the old pair...instead of assuming..maybe u should ask him......

or r u the 1 that's insecure about your sewing? j/k

Your friend is a tool. If I didnt know how to sew I would of spent about $1000 paying an apolsterer (sp?) to install a carpet, a headliner, recover 2 visors, and an armrest in my family's DeSoto. Also would of been bleeding all over myself when I crashed my friends 4 wheeler about 5 miles from anywhere. I had a small sewing kit in my pouch on my 4 Wheeler and sewed up a gash on my upper forearm. The doctor said I did a great job :P.

Default It's ok

Nothing wrong with that! If a guy can't do simple things like that and cook, no on will do it for him. The days of the woman staying home and being the homemaker is almost nonexistent. I am actually a pretty good cook. Better then my gf.
