ok well im 15, always broke, and can't get a job yet anywhere. When I get older I want to get into creating my own/owning a business I think this would be a great start.... I want to buy my own candy machine, and put them in stores i.e. (quater machines and stuff) something like this

Hopefully i will be able to own more in the future just a little passive income, and maybe even upgrade to pop machines later. I'm just looking for some advice anyone else do this stuff? right now i have 1,000 dollars saved in my bank account. I am still in the planning process right now not ready to start the process of buying them. Just looking for some advice. discuss.

 

its gonna be a hard sell being 15 trying to convince people to let you put those places... chances are they will also charge you to have them in their stores/malls..

before you invest any money into the machines i would go around to places you *think* you would want to put them and ask them. Also i would bet a large percentage of malls/stores (target, walmart, ect.) have exclusive contracts with people like Jimmy Jingle and such.

Yeah I for sure will go around asking stores for permission before i buy. my brothers friend used to do the same thing and he offered i think 10% of his profit to stores

 

try places like hospital and padiatric reception areas... you never see them there...

 

better stock them wtih granola bars then

my dad did this for a long time and it was ok, never really gained that much money, jus gained some quarters, fake coins and free drinks when he wanted. He was really going to get into it and sent $10k to get more machines to this one company and then the company never sent the machines and that was it to the soda business.
he just left the machines in this bank andnever went back to get it, we hav 2 laying in our garage.
oh and one tip, if you can get a quarter and pound them until they are the same size or roughly the same size as a dollar coin, it would register as 1.00 but defacing currency is illegal.

 

Oreos would work much better in the dentist office. :exnbp:
