It seems that overall driving experience, smoothness and drivability [daily driver included], the Evo wins.
As far as brute power goes, the STI dominates, and does do better 1/4 wise, and even on most handling tests. However, STI's are just that, brute. They arnt as smooth, are loud and obnoxious, and have a lot of small annoyances. However, since i'm sure we all love ITR's, we'd probably choose the STI.
I love the STI, and would do almost anything to have one, but after hearing and driving in both, it just seems that for a non-problematic smooth daily driver [but still fun], the evo wins.
