Default gov arnold broke the law

http://www.nbc4.tv/politics/2890673/detail.html

A Los Angeles television station showed the governor telling another voter inside the polling place to "make sure to vote yes on 57 and 58."

Well, if he only told one person that's one thing imho. Electioneering seems to me to be active campaigning.

If you deliberately take a very narrow view of the electioneering statute, then yes..he did violate that law, presuming that voting was in progress in that room.

I doubt much will come of this. I don't even consider the "story" newsworthy...h:

tho he did break the law, i dont think somethign as petty as this should be adressed. maybe if he were threatening the voters with his muscles or preaching to them while they were voting, but that did not happen. i suppose human beings just arent allowed to interact anymore when it comes to things like this.....

He was conversing with a fellow voter. Nothing wrong with that.

If he was going like, "Oh you must vote yes on 57 and 58 arhya arhya arhya, and we'll make caLIfornia a better state arhya! Do it!! Do it!!" That'd be one thing... but this. meh.

  Not my state. Not my governor. He won't become president, so I couldn't give a shit less. It was you CA people who voted for his dumb ass in the first place, was it not? Throw the book at him. Make him an example. Lock him in a room and throw away the key and then the room too.

He smokes cigars in the capitol building in Sacramento, which is a smoke-free area. Write his Hans-n-Franz ass a ticket.

What crawled up my ass you may ask? The whole 'big name' getting elected crap. Look at Minnesota with Jesse Ventura- it looked good on paper, but the execution was weak. Same song, second verse.

What's California got in common with breakfast cereal?
It's full of fruits, flakes, and nuts. :shiner:

I guess someone from Texas would definately be able to spot a weak execution.
