yes it was a dohc 16 valve, but it pumped out an amazing 113 hp and a whoping 99 ft/lbs of torque...so I wouldn't exactly say it has an advantage over the d16 that the civic uses.

that's a stupid decision to combine the forums.

if i wanted to post a question about a leaky roof on a del sol, i want it to be visible to del sol owners...not people looking for other civic info.

I'm just trying to get all the Del Sol guys to to recreate what we had here at HAN. The Solers seemed to like what we had alot untill today, and we can just choose to go and find a place like what we enjoyed- simple as that.

Honestly, we had the same complaints when we added Pre-92 Civic to the CRX forum. The explanation was the same then as it is now. The CRX is the same chassis as the Civic from those years, and the folks with older Civics would have been better served by the CRX forum than the Civic forum so we made the Civic forum '92-up Civic.

Adding the EL to the forum is obvious, and the del Sol is just the CRX everywhere else in the world. Everything mechanically is the same as the EG Civic and the B16 is also in the '99-'00 Si so really the only thing exclusive to the del Sol is the top.

If anything the 1G Integra would be lumped in with the pre-1992 Civics, with which it had a fair deal in common. (Suspension, basic engine layout, etc.)

The older Gen CRX's while some stuff is simualar a quite differnt then the Del Sol's. They share almost all suspenstion and Engine parts (Sans the B16) with the 92-95. The Del Sol Forum was here for a long time before anyone everposted in it and even recenlty before I signed up to post I would hardly look in Del Sol Forum because of the of posts.
