in 93 and 94 the del sol name was "Honda Civic Del Sol blah blah" after 95 it becaue "Honda Del Sol" this means that even Honda knew that the two cars were different enough to qualify a different name. That is why a hatch is still a civic it is the same inside and out (execpt for the hatch) but the sol is different inside and out: interior, seats, tail lights, head lights, etc
i dont think thats a smart thing to do.
if you want to find out something about del sols, you have to wade through a lot of civic and el crap.
before you could just go right to the right forum.
in 93 and 94 the del sol name was "Honda Civic Del Sol blah blah" after 95 it because "Honda Del Sol" this means that even Honda knew that the two cars were different enough to qualify a different name.
Actually the reason the dropped the civic off of it from 95 and up was because the civics got a redesign and was release mid 95 and the del sol did not so it was no longer based on the current civic so the dropped the civic from the name, the 95 and up del sol are still just 92-95 civics with a differnt body.
If the Front of the Del Sol had been redesigned to match the 96 and up civics it would have still been called the Civic Del Sol
the Del Sol was called the CRX Del Sol in everywhere but America too, why are we not there? im just telling all the Solers to go we liked our community and not getting buired by the more (im not calling them evil or bad, simply more numerous) Civic guys
