don't pick your friend as your roomate, if their dad is going to be the landlord. it just plain sucks.

had a friend from high school room with me in college.....the year is going good

not the closest friend but a chill with friend everynow and then

in a dorm its different, because you dont have to pay rent by the month, and there's barely any maintenance/cleaning that has to be done.

i once moved out with 2 ppl i didnt know very well and it only took me 6 months to move out of that hell hole.. id rather have friends as roommates any day

In any situation or combination of roommates, there must be first the foundations of law and order. Provided a structure of reasonable rules and the penalties for violating same is in existence, most perception-based confilcts can be successfully forestalled.

I'm rooming with a friend from high school and my newly "exed" girlfriend. I think we'll be ok though. both of our parents are very cautious now.

hmm.. well, i think i'd have no problem rooming with 2 of my best friends.. we're together basically all day. 8:00 to 4:30 is school. then 4:30-6:30 is football (we're just conditioning and lifting right now). then we go eat until around 7:15. then if its friday or the weekend, we usually chill until sunday night.
