it's probably best to stick with the registry stuff, unless you REALLY REALLY know their taste, then it's okay to deviate from the list. otherwise, gift certs are awesome and they go with everything.

I like the engraving idea and there is a "Things remembered" store in a mall near my house that does that stuff, but technically they are already married (they had a JP marry them before he left for Iraq) so this is the formal wedding ceremony now basically, so which date should I put on it?? :thinking:

I would agree with the others that said registry. If you dont know where they registered, you can always ask them yourselves. That's what i did. If you dont want to get them anything off the reigsitry, you can always just give them money. I honestly would not buy anything off the registry.
