VWs are alright cars but they have no soul. :a:

It's funny you mention that. Not to generalize, but yea, Honda 'guys' & most import guys are VERY different from other crowds, such as VW's and BMW's. But again, there are some exceptions.

I find the VW guys to be a lot like BMW and Porsche tuners... They just seem to be happy to be a part of it all... whether they win or lose. Of course, we have some exceptions...

On the rim thing... No way in hell is that ever going on my car. I do love measuring dish with small mammals, but, stretching the tires like that is just dumb.

And, if anyone thinks VW's don't have soul, you're welcome to drive mine... if you live around Baton Rouge, of course.

IMO vee dubs have more soul than honda. but neither really have much soul so why split hairs?

the main reason i like VWs (not so much the newer ones) is the style. its like the style of no style same with older volvos, saabs, and bmws. more function over form. i like that.

 

i went to a vw meet once. they were pricks.

most peeps i hang out with are into trucks and muscle... but they arent honda bashers at all.. dylan and my other bud kris both own old chevy trucks.. kris owns the truck, a s/c'd nova, a v8 camaro, and an 80s toyota 4x4... they love honda's also and we have great times bs'ing about cars of all makes...
