I still don't get what you're talking about with the fitting your hand thing Will. I've got no complaints with my S200. I mean, it doesn't have an actual grip like on the A-series cameras but it's not painful to hold.

yes, its not painful to hold, but i find it comforting to have that "bulge" on the case. i know that the s-series cameras are nothing more than point and shoot cameras, but i still find it useful to have that comfort. as you said, the a-series camera have them, the nikon CP cameras have them, as with the higher end digicams like the sony 717, 828, digi rebel,...

but i guess the elph cameras are just made as a good camera that will literally fit in your pocket. it just irks me. im not planning to write canon or anything h:

Honestly given the relatively low frequency that I stick my S200 in my pocket (it's still a bit to clunky to do so gracefully) I would go with the S45 over the S400. Assuming of course they're similar in price. But damn dude, when I got my S200 you still had your A40. Now you're replacing its replacement?
There is a problem with the lens...I think that it is scratched or something. I don't think I have any more life on my service plan either. The 2100 was only purchased because my mom got it as a PSP replacement for her DC215. She traded with me since I wanted the smaller size.
