not all bikers are bad..
I didnt read any of these posts....but based on the title, I just want to say this:
I love bikes/bike owners.....I live in a town of about 2000 people. During Harley Rodeo our town grows to about 5000. Its three days of incredibly drunken good times. The locals and the toursits bond together for three days out of the year to have some serious fun. Everyone enjoys it and it brings INCREDIBLE revenue to our little town (the biggest money making weekend of the year). Red Lodge Montana <3's Bikers.

Whats funny about that is that the Harley riders around here wont even acknowledge us Crotch-Rocket riders. They are quick to wave to eachother though. I always feel like such a dick when i wave to one of them, and they dont even look over.
Ooooh, I didnt even think about crocth rockets when I saw this thread. You know what they say: Out of site, out of mind. We dont really have streetbikes here.....Ack, I need to get back to a city quicklike!!!
Anyhow, that sucks that they dont acknowledge you.....prickness!!!
So...hi Nick. Whats been happenin?!?!

The Harley riders around here always wave to me when I'm riding and most of the time when I'm parked some where they will even stop to ask what all is done to my bike
I guess it just depends on where you live :dunno:

A majority of bikers in general are pretty nice. when i used to ride 2 years ago i would usually ride bymyself, but then when ever another biker passed in my opposite direction they would throw a hand up to say hi or a nod. It didnt matter whether they were sport bikes or cruisers, they all nod.

But now that things are back on track, I can start riding again. And to celebrate I bought a brand new bike. I bought an '04 Honda CBR600 F4i. It's not to hard to ride. I got the hang of it pretty quick. Of course I still have to break it in.

i have a rule w/ ANY passenger that rides w/ me that we wave to anybody we see no matter what type of bike they are on. the way most people do it around here is just to drop the left hand down to the side w/ their pointer figer extended as they approach the other rider. the only exception is the driver doesn't wave if it's in a turn. i get return waves from 99.9% of all other riders.
