I was riding my motorcycle along this wide 3 lane boulevard. Then I come to a light. While I was waiting, these 3 other bikers come. They surround me. I was thinking, 'crap, they're going to mess with me'. One of them gives me a nod and motions me to open my shield. Well, I do and I ask,'what's up?' He asks if I want to join them for a ride over at the San Bruno Mountains and then get some coffee. I said, 'thanks for the offer but I'm in a bit of a rush'. Then he said, 'Alright it's cool. I'm always riding around in the area. Maybe we'll run into each other again". After that, the light turns green and we go our sperate ways. The guy throws up a peace sign. That was a neat/weird experience cuz I always thought a lot of them were pricks or something. h: At least I know now that not all of them are like that. :thumbup:

i used to see a few cool riders in the bay. they actually gave thumbsup or peace signs during traffic, and a few would ask if i wanted to join group rides.

 

In general, I was actually pretty shocked they even asked me. Because like I said earlier, I thought most of them were just a bunch of pricks... I'm basing it on experiences I had previously. I see all those dudes hanging around in front of Starbucks, not moving out of anyone's way, speeding every chance they get, etc. :happysad:
