Somebody broke into my car and took my cd player and radar dector the other night. They also got into two other cars in the parking lot and took their stuff. I'm lucky that they didn't break my window or take any of my cds. I had like 20 cds just sitting on my passanger seat. When I told the cops they took my radar dectector, they said, "Radar dector????? What do you need that for" Even though it sucks that I'm driving in silence, I feel pretty lucky that none of my cds are gone.

I'd recommend Clifford™ on my experience alone, but I'm not the resident expert by any means.. h:

The major things to look for are the systems used to detect entry, and I'd also recommend an auxilliary siren with it's own battery backup system. A starter kill feature would also be advisable...

It depends on what your investment in the vehicle is, and also - since you're putting in an alarm - seeing what your insurer has to offer in terms of discounts for various levels of security systems...
