I do it because it is what I have always done.
Since I got my first car at 13 I couldn't stand to leave it stock, I always had to change something on it and it is like a compulsion.
18 years and 23 cars later I still can't stop myself.

i do it ALL for myself. the way i do it is my style and it's not something for anyone to look at but MYSELF. i could care less of someone hates my car.
i hate those who doesn't like to work on and fix up their car but they do it just to impress people or to get girls... they pay people to do all their work like install some lenses and crap. i hate people who flaunt

I do it because it's one of the few things left that makes me happy? Everything else just depresses me. I'm not into the race or show scene. Spending a few thousand dollars to get a 3 foot tall trophy(Although I'd like to go to Sears Point on Wednesday night Amateurs just for the hell of it)? Anyway, why not just spend 100 bucks to buy a blank 3 foot tall trophy and put whatever you want on it? Anyway, this is just my opinion. Don't listen to me.

I don't really work on my car but I do bolt on the products myself and sometimes with the help of my friends. I enjoy slapping on new stuff on the car that is practical for me and my ride. Someday I'll have an entertainment system in the ride, I'm guessing DEcember. I will love cars until the day I die. I'll just move up a level each time I make a purchuse of a new car.
