Can shift knobs be "rice"? Undertstandable if its like "Fast and Furious" brand or "NOS" brand...but other than that?

i just like those cheap, brushed aluminum looking ones, but they might be cold to hold onto though.

Why worry about what others think; if it makes you happy then thats all that should matter shouldn't it? Personally, I dont think its bad (ive seen far worse; my stepbro has one of those see-through plastic neon ones for his neon:chuckles:. It would be nicer looking if it were solid black leather IMO, but hey, thats just my personal opinion.

get a type R shift knob from autodynamic their cheap and good quality a little cold in colder weather but look nice and come in gunmetal or chrome, nice and heavy.
