This is why I use stock rims, cheaper much cheaper to replace in case of incidents like this. After market rims are awesome to look at, but I can't go to a junkyard and pick up an exact same one for $20.

I agree! I'm going to be rolling on stock wheels while I use my remaining 2 18" left wheels+tires on the track in the front (different thread depths would cause the car to pull to the side on the street). I will most likely order the 2 replacement wheels now, and sit on them until the last 2 tires are worn out (they're discontinued and running out of stock everywhere!). Then, I'll replace them with 4 new tires w/ road hazard protection that I'll use on the street only.

well, do you think that if the car was lowered, my front bumper would have deflected the large solid object? If that would have been the case, I could have avoided damaging 2 wheels+tires, and knocking out the alignment. :dunno:

i don't know.. ADR wheels tend to break like that, and most people agree that ADR is shit. i hit a HUGE pothole once. actually, it was more than a pothole, as it was large enough that both of my front wheels hit it, and hard, with 4 people in the car. i'm taking about a big fukin' massive jolt that startled everyone in the car. so what happened? i developed a bubble in each front tire, but no damage to the wheels.

i'd look to move on. 17" is too big, imo, anyway. i bet a nice 16" would look much better on your accord than those.

16" is an Integra size. You want 17" for maximum performance on the 6th gen. Accord, although I agree that the 18" wheels were too big.

well, i only meant as far as looks. for example, my gf got the optional 17" wheels on her c230. she's running 16" wheels on there right now for the winter, and i actually think they look better.

it's just my opinion, of course, and i think i'm one of the few, but huge wheels still don't do it for me, unless it's an all out race car. but ok, i'll give him that. 17" is passable. and evidently he does auto X. i definitely wouldn't do 18".

Well, seeing how my other 2 18" wheels are OK, it looks like I have no choice but to order replacements. Ever since I started autocrossing, I wanted to purcase a set of 17" wheels for track only (with much less street-friendly tires), and use the 18s on the street only...

If I had known that I would end up autocrossing, I would have definitely bought 17" wheels from the start...

16" has too much sidewall, and won't give as good of a tire choice on the 6th gen Accords...
