I have a gas car and I have honestly hated the thing.
Lots of maintenence and they tend to have a lot of breakdowns.
Electric is more for fun and gas is more for enthusiasts.

i vote for hpi nitro rs4 3. avoid the RTRs and take the time to build it yourself. it'll be easier to replace/repair stuff. and try www.towerhobbies.com they got good prices.
