SCCA licenses are rather annoying to get. I would try and go through NASA. Of course I would also try a few autox events before hitting the road courses, and even after that it takes a while to get up to full fledged wheel to wheel racing.

So um basically, don't worry about cages and suits and all that other crap just yet.

I was looking into getting a CRX a few years ago... maybe once the Civic is sold... I'll seriously start looking into it again. :thinking:

Thats what the 2 driving schools are for. You have to pass those before they will even let you onto a track for an event. SCCA is strict about the schools, if you can't complete the work they give at a school you have to start all over again. I'll look into the NASA thing, and about auto xing... if I can find an event within an hour drive I am there.

Don't want those other goodies and so on. Just want a plain old CRX... not modified and well under $1000. I know it'll be impossible to find, but who knows someone might have one somewhere.
