I think I want the verizon dsl backh: This sh!tty cable is flucuating between 600-1500kp/s At lest the dsl was a constant 700. I wish I had cablevision, optimum online was always fast as hell 5.5mbits/s:wtc: I hate comcast

what speeds you get? I use to dl off mirc at 500KBs+ now I'm lucky if I get 100KBs

My Eartlink Cable (provided by Time Warner) is considerably faster than my Earthlink DSL was...but it also has more frequent downtime. I had DSL for 3 years and had downtime once for a few hours...I've had Cable for a few months and have had downtime almost 10 times.

 

i have Adelphia Cable back at school...the service will drop like once a day and my max DL speed was 750KB/sec

 

:werd: Comcast sucks. I cant wait to get back to my 45Mbps T3 line at schoolh:

edit: I get more than 5MB per sec when downloading songs off the network at school
