pffft. I barely get above 20MPG in my stock I4 Accord. I believe my car should be enjoyed, especially since it's overmaintained (6 month oil changes=2500 miles)...

 

i think those whiney rx-8 drivers would been happier with lancer evolution.

 

How the hell does that have anything to do with what the RX-8 people are complaining about? Mitsubishi spies on Evo owners when they go to tracks.

it's just my opinion.. i just don't think most of rx-8 drivers are too happy with car's acceleration. besides the fact that rx-8 can kill most cars in track, it's hard to prove its performance on drag strip. i know the car's not meant to be a drag car, but there are still some people with a passion for rx-7, which with twin turbo charged rotary wankle. if they wanted to have a sports car with back seat, less maintenance, turbo charged engine, similar price range and relaiblity, i think they should looked at something like lancer evolution, instead of keep whining about it. i haven't been into rx-8 forum, just giving out some opinions based on your topic.
