A friend of mine died Jan 1, 2004 from complications of the flu virus. She was a pretty close online friend whom held a special place in my heart.

She will be depply missed.

Please, if any of you are getting sick with flu-like symptoms, SEE A DOCTOR! She was a very healthy person, but caught the flu like many people do every year. It has been rumoured that the flu virus going around this year is a very strong virus, and has been called a killer.

I can't stress enough to all of you, if you're feeling sick, please GO SEE A DOCTOR! All of you are friends of mine, and I wouldn't want to have to hear about how the flu has taken yet another life

Man that sucks about your friend sorry to hear that. The flu is nasty as hell this year I was sick as hell for like a week. I was running like a 102 fever and I couldn't get it to go down. Now I got my mandatory flu shot from the army so I am sure I won't get it again.

 

Nasty flu this year, as soon as you start to feel the symptoms either see a doctor or take some Zycan (sp?). I've heard it works wonders if you take it early enough.

 

dying from the flu at 20 years old? that doesn't sound right at all.. :eh: sucks though..
