Drunk Muchies like whoa! y0!
Got off the metro and went to 7-11 where I bought:
1 buffalo chicken go-go taquito
1 bacon egg n cheese croissant
1 slice of pound cake
20 oz bottle of sunny d
I ate everything except the pound cake then went next door to McDonald's where I got a big n tasty value meal, hold the mayo.
Now I'm home and have the pound cake and some of the sunny d sitting on my desk. It'll be breakfast.
Man, everything is so much simpler when you can just walk home from the bars, I had to hop a taxi to the train then drive home while stopping at 7-11 and McD's on the way. In Madison I coulda just stumbled across the street to Qdoba for a burrito then walked the big three blocks back to my apartment. Plus I woulda spent a lot less money at the bar.
Such is life in the suburbs of DC. Gotta go into the city to get anything interesting going on.

I heart Sunny D.
In fact, I'm drinking some right now.
And I hear you on the difficulty of getting anywhere in the DC burbs. I used to live in NYC and god, how I miss taxis and the subway. :wtc:

Well it's really not that bad, just time consuming. 5-10 mins drive to the metro station, 15 mins train ride to Adams Morgan, 2 min cab ride to 18th street, then reverse the order on the way back. Still cheaper than trying to park in the city.
I guess maybe in Gaithersburg it's more of a pain since you aren't as close to the Metro.
