So I have been house hunting for a few weeks, and to my dismay i couldn't find anything i really liked.

I decided today to give this one more shot, and i found a house i just loved. The kitchen is kinda small, but the bedrooms are huge, 2 full bathrooms with a skylight in both, above ground pool, the garage is enclosed, and now a room/bedroom

Anyhow I made an offer today, and i didn't think i would get the house, cause i was asking $5,000 or so cheaper

they accepted my offer! :yay::yay::kiss::thumbup:

What offer did you make. I'm thinking about purchasing a home when my apartment lease expires. I may have to shelve my plans for a high-end Honda or Acura. :sad:

Well, she wants $107,000 for the house, but there are things wrong with it, that are easily fixable. Also, the houses around her are selling for $95,000 to $110,000. So I met her in the middle with $104,000 and proposed she pay ALL closing costs. I opted out on a carpet/painting allowance, but the carpet is damn near new, and how much does paint cost now-a-days? If i were you, i'd really start looking, its a sellers market right now, meaning, if some one wants to sell thier property, they are going to get what they asked and possibly more. If you find something you really like, go ahead and try for it, cause who knows what will happen in a month or 2 or 3. My lease isn't up for 6 more months, but this house won't be here in 6 months, so I need to act now-




$104,000 and I don't have pictures yet :happysad: maybe tomorrow when I go back and look at the house again, i'll take my digital camera and take a few pictures.
