Yay or Nay? Either way rail :]
but it is such an insignificant amount of "extra" wear that it would cause your exhaust to blow seals in 9 years 364 days and 23 hours instead of 10 years...I mean it is ludacris to even think that an intake would do really any damage...especially on a free flow exhaust.
velocity no but volume yes?
yes but extra wear is extra wear. whether it is driving at 3500 rpm or 3600 rpm daily that little bit will make a difference at some point.
did this intake kill my exhaust? no it was dieing anyways... but i really noticed the dieing of it when the intake was put on it.
either way you people are still denying that more air in is more air out. how you can do that is beyond me..

This is the shittiest riceboy argument I have ever seen.
Adding an intake won't accelerate the aging of your exhaust system. There isn't enough CFMs to make a difference. If that's the case, than I HAVE to change exhaust systems every year for my turbo car. :jerkit:
