Here's Some Pics/Info on My Friend's Supra - VIDEOS UPDATED
1/4 Mile
- 11.98 @ 119.4 mph (Stock Twins)
- 10.88 @ 135.2 mph (T88H turbo, 26psi, stock cams)
That makes me laugh...how much money did he invest into that turbo, just to make it one second faster...

T88 turbo kit is alot fo money around 4.5-5k maybe more. not just the fact that he did it to go one second faster. not many people are gonna hang with him from a roll now that he has that T88 that is one huge turbo.

I would venture a guess that the turbo spools well after 4k rpm. As for building a "highway monster" a lot of the Supra guys seem to do it and I can't really wrap my head around it. With that much more thrust one would certainly want to get wider wheels/tires, a firmer suspension and bigger brakes regardless of whether or not the car is going to be on a race track (aside from a drag strip of course). But hey chalk it up to me being a fan of the balanced approach.

Big single turbo Supras are very limited in their drag racing abilities due to traction problems. Sure the ET is only one second lower but look at the difference in trap speeds.
