Smething strikes me as a bit off when a car makes 2.5 times its stock horsepower but still has the stock brakes and suspension with a few minor upgrades.

I don't know if that was one of "the two black ones", but doubt it. He's only got 4000 something miles on that motor.

And yeah, he ran his 10.88 at Epping. See video.

He doesn't bring the car out much.

because the stock brakes are very good in stock form. if you noticed he has new rotors which will help. his car isn't made for the road course anyway, especially with that T88. that thing is a highway monster

i'm not saying his car can't do good on a road course just that a T88 wouldn't be a smart choice for a car to be on a road course seeing as full boost comes around 4k or up rpm.

I would venture a guess that the turbo spools well after 4k rpm. As for building a "highway monster" a lot of the Supra guys seem to do it and I can't really wrap my head around it. With that much more thrust one would certainly want to get wider wheels/tires, a firmer suspension and bigger brakes regardless of whether or not the car is going to be on a race track (aside from a drag strip of course). But hey chalk it up to me being a fan of the balanced approach.
