What do you think of Gay people?

I mean why do gays need their own magazines? Does each magazine cover how to stick a different phallic object up ones arse? I dont see how straight ppl and gays live such a different lifestyle to begin with.

That's like saying 'I can't believe blacks want special rights like the same pay rate as whites, and to be able to live in white neighborhoods.'
Why do import people need SCC, Import Tuner, Honda Tuner, Turbo, and Super Street?
Can't just one magazine cover all the rice?

It seems as if the "in" thing to do is come out. By comming out, you risk alot. I don't feel sorry for you. I'd prefer Bill Clinton's "don't ask, don't tell" policy. What ever floats your boat, just don't sink mine. I don't want to know, so don't tell me!

Don't be shocked if one of your friends or people you admire is homosexual.
It's not the "in" thing for a guy to be homosexual. It's "in" for girls to have bisexual experiences (of course, why not, it turns guys on
) but for a guy to come out of the closest he is risking everything. No one should have to hide love. Whether its a black guy with a white girl or an asian guy with a hispanic guy.

How many times must we go over this? Blacks do not have a choice, and I can agree to an extent that they have suffered unjustified hardships over the years. But gays make a choice. The struggles they have in culture are brought on by themselves. It seems as if the "in" thing to do is come out. By comming out, you risk alot. I don't feel sorry for you. One of my friends in high school came out and his nose required 12 stiches and was broken in three places by some homophobes. How in is that?
How would you feel if you had to hide what you were, 24/7?
Simply because something has been done for a long time, that does not condone its continued practice. Society moves forward. I see very little negative impact to equal rights based on race, and I certainly don't think gender based equal rights would seriously harm our society.
How much intestinal fortitude do you think it takes to come out and tell the world that you are something they hate? A lot more than it takes to spout useless hate and hide behind tradition.

WHAT IN THE WORLD does that have to do with someone being homosexual?
And i'm sure many guys who your grandfather fought with were gay.
You sound like you are 60 years old. Look around you man- there are intelligent and hard working kids these days. But they are kids.
I doubt your grandfather was such a strong, moral, well to do 15 year old.
Deal with it- the youth of EVERY generation has always caused problems and has always been "a bad generation".
This is entirely off topic- why the hell did you bring this argument into the thread?

I'd like to see homosexuals just try to survive the trials and hardships of the depression. They'd forget all about their partners when it came time to figure out if they'll eat at all today, or if their money is safe in the bank. So you want to throw out tradition, eh? Well it's that same tradition that you want to throw out which gives all your homosexual friends the right to be gay. They just don't think or don't remember where it came from.

Ask your grandfather if he ever feared for his life because of the girls he liked. Then ask him how it would have been if he had felt that way.
