First mistake the AIDS epidemic is not from gays. Whoever instilled that into your insignificant little mind did that because they are homophobic.

AIDS originated somewhere in Africa from a species of monkeys. How do I know, my uncle helped me do a research paper when I was in 9th grade about it.

About gays... the way I look at it its your life and you can live it any way you want.

The way I look at it the reason we are so screwed up is because we have learnt how to hate. The moment we stop hating others and realize that we are humans we'll stop trying to kill each other.

i cannot believe the amount of ignorance i have just read by some people in this post.

it's the same people that are saying things like "gays should burn where they stand" or "they should perform tests on fags" that half a decade ago were calling black people n|ggers.

do you see the parallel drawn here?

what were black people doing wrong in being here? they were different, they weren't accepted. and it was a**holes like yourself with the intelligence of a stapler that probably made derogatory comments and participate in lynchings.

millions today look back and wonder how people could HATE blacks so much, to the point that they would take it upon themselves to deprive individuals of their life because they thought they were better than them.

now imagine a day 50 years from now when people look back and wonder, "why did people hate gays so much?" They haven't hurt anyone, they mind their business and keep to themselves.

It has taken this country many years to recovery from a history of racism, but to this day these ideas and stereotypes still live. Gays will be another chapter in this country's encyclopedia of hatred.

Many movies depict the struggle that african americans had to endure, and portray their advocates as far and few. Now ask yourself, who would you like to be in the movie... the guy fighting for african american rights, or the guy in American History X smashing a negro's skull on the curb?

Some day gays will have equal rights and no one will question them (just as nobody questions the rights of african americans).

Don't be a contributor to the hate and take a step back from the situation before your kids grow up wondering why their mother/father was so ignorant.

(i'm sure some smart ass is going to speak up and ask me if i'm a fag, so i'll answer it now: NO, but i have gay friends and believe it or not, they're not bad people nor do they hit on me or assrape me while i'm passed out)

Do whatever you feel its your life just don't expect everyone to be cool with it. People have a tendency to hate what they don't really understand,but never realize its because they are not open to others beliefs so they rather discriminate the learn.

 

gay people are cool, i know 2 gay doods.. as long as a gay dood doesn't walk up to me and be like, "hey baby" or some shiet, it's all good G...

I think gay people are pretty normal. Some are flamboyant and that's kinda funny for a while. I don't know what that comes from. But anyway, comparing homosexuals to pedophiles, rapists and murderers seems kinda whack (understatement). There isn't a victim in a homosexual relationship from what I can tell. And Manin, why did you hold back from beating the **** out of that guy that hit on you? Man, that woulda been so tough of you to do a hate crime. Sweet! I'm a Christian.

I dont think I hate anyone really, or at least, I try not to hate.

I dont think homosexuality is right. But that doesn't mean I hate gay people. I dont hate them. I dont think what they feel or do is right, but I dont hate them. I can't hate them, it goes against everything being a Christian is about.

I dont know if you're born like that, or you grow up like that. or you make the choices. I think though that it could be all of that. Just like how some peopel are born deformed, or born missing a chromosome, some people are born gay.

I also dont think if you're gay, you're going to hell. Nor do I think if you dont believe in Christ, you're going to hell. Its one thing to be gay, and like it, then be gay and not want to be gay. (er does that make sense) Also... its one to to not believe in Christ, and another thing to not know about Christ.

I remember once, a friend of mine telling me about one of her friend. How he was crying to her, telling her how much he doesn't want to be gay, and how he doesnt know why God let him be like this, and etc. etc.

personally, I think this is a very messy subject. Unfortunately, the way I feel and believe, will offend a lot of people.

You know... sometimes you wonder why religion goes into so many topics, and etc... to me, this isn't a religion really.. its my belief. Its the truth to me.

Anyway, this topic has many different issues involved with it.. mainly due to the fact that there's so many different type of people.

its funny, huh? even Christians argue over things, (ie: translation,version of the Bible) and other things (ie: Harry Potter, how its wrong and etc.)

talk about hard convincing people that this is the "truth" heh.

I just hope everything turns out okay at the end....
