you need to either run a gamesave hack or a font exploit, can get kinda involved. check out http://www.xbox-scene.net/ there's plently of tutorials on there. you're probably going to be getting a v.1.3 box so I'm not sure if there are any problems still lingering w/ the exploits.

Nope Xbox laser reads the disc in reverse of the normal..i.e. inside to outside.

If you hack it then you can store the games on the harddrive itself and no longer does it require that you purchase a "chip" and instead uses software exploits to accomplish this.

Hmm maybe I am wrong I never actually tried it yet.

I had read somewhere on Xboxscene that it ran under a reverse laser setup but I may have read the wrong info...either way I end up loading them onto my hard drive anyways.

45 games and counting on my drive right now

also check out www.cdrom-guide.com for more info and a forum to ask questions in

the format program you need is gdfimage and gdfimage gui<is the front end program, basically a skin to control it.
