What I wanna know is how do you go about burnin ps2 games

 

sorry to hijack the thread...but is there any way to burn and play ps2 games without having to chip it?

 

when you burn games do you have to patch them first or is it 1-1?

i just do the xbox harddrive save thingy on my 120gig

 

I know that you can convert the to an iso file then burn them but I think you have to convert them back before you install them onto the XboX.

I have the iso creation program but I haven't really messed with it very much because the one time I did it the file size didn't go down much:dunno:

I am going to be getting a DVD burner here real soon so it will be a lot easier to put them on disc as a zip file and probably be able to fit 3 games per disc.

 

hmmm....so if it comes in iso format (like some i download) you can just burn it on a dvd-rw and it will read on the xbox? sounds too easy....

as for the game swap...sounds good, we could just send games usps for less than a 2 bucks:bigok: but i need to know about disc backups also cause im running out of space on the harddrive...only ~33gigs left and i may need to back them up on disc since i do have a dvd burner.

 

I back mine up on my server computer so no matter what happens I always have em and it only takes a couple minutes to transfer them back onto the xbox

 

what burner u plannin on goin w/? I kno where u can get the pioneer 106 for $129, and dvd-r 4x media for about $1-1.20 per disc ritek gen 4 media

 

Got any hookups on a dual format burner?

 

oh and it is pretty easy but depending on the bios ur running u may have to patch the default.xbe file in the game. I have to because my bios file is really old but it only take's me 5 second's using a hex editor to search for the line and change it
