Default Wedding Registration

Man, all I have to say is that was nuts. We were in Bed Bath and Beyond for 3 and a half hours registering for things for the wedding. It was fun but i was tired. I don't want to shop for a long long time. She had so much fun.

We registered at Target and my husband actually had fun because I let him shoot the scanner gun.

Just a helpful hint.......if you don't have a lot of things on your registry, people are going to give you one of two things a) cold hard cash, or b) silly stuff that you don't want, from places that you aren't sure of. In other words, you will end up running all over town trying to return the gift you don't want/need (option B). I would suggest that you have A LOT of things on your registry from several different stores in your area. I know that $$ is the best gift () and people that really want to give you cash are going to do it no matter how much stuff you registered for. The good part about registering for a lot of things is that if you don't get it - you don't really care, and if you do get it at least you know where it came from and you can easily return it for cash (don't register at Target if you want to get cash).

Places with a scanner gun are key!

True on that one. We registerd at target for mostly camping things, because we take trips in the summer doing camping and outdoor stuff.

The bed bath and beyond things are online as well. Search my name or her name.
My name: Joshua Vengley
Her Name: Heather Fain
We have a lot of stuff for BBAB, but my family is giving us the Honeymoon as a gift. Roundtrip airfare and 7 Day Cruise to the Bahamas for us

I don't have a problem with Target per say, just that they are THE WORST with regards to returns, even with gift receipts. They usually try to pull some BS and say that you have to get something from the same department, they can't give you store credit, etc. They used to be really good about it (several years ago), but recently (last few years) they have gotten really tight about returns. We had a baby registry there and got a lot of duplicates and they were TERRIBLE! We ended taking most things back to Toys R Us - who by the way takes back and returns ANYTHING that they carry no matter where it came from.

I know how that is./ We were warned about their return policy and only put down very little. They were very leaniant back in the day. People would pull the ol Rent to own and then take back when they were done.
