Sounds like another reason why I need a chip...

I'm just going to let the valet service handle the employee situation. It just might have been an accident, and a lack of experience. I dont really know, since I can't prove the car was actually raced. I can prove it was abused, but not necessairly driven XXXX miles.

Either way, someone else is paying for my car repairs. I dont plan on suing the crap out of them (just $800 for the axle + labor), but I'm sure the PR department of a 5-star hotel might want to throw in some goodies to rebuild customer trust. If I talk too much, and start spreading the 'abusive valet' situation, then fewer people would want to stay there.

Of course, all I really want is my car back.

damn man, i'm a valet, bugs the hell outta me when people are scared to give me their car...i gotta answer a milion questions sometimes. and they insist on holding on to their keys after i park the damn car. most of the times their cars are a pile. i could never bring my to kill someone elses car especially when they told me to take care of it cause those people are the big tippers. sorry to hear that dude

I WOULD have tipped him well, too..

I just take comfort in the fact that I'll probably get a new axle + a little extra for the 'inconvienence'.

Its great having mom as a lawyer... I dont have to pay any attorney's fees..

I hope it turns out alright.
i have a friend w/ a turboed B18B in his civic hatch who cracked an axel.

anyways....

that sucks that they did that. i'd be pretty pissed. make sure you get some extra money for that. customer is always right, esp w/ a lawyer mom:thumbup:
