since people can't buy anything because they don't have jobs, companies lower their prices/cut jobs. It's a evil circle

tyco was originally asian anyway wasnt it?

and wamu is a competitor. them losing jobs only helps me. you cant cut 2900 jobs and perform the same. customers will leave them and hoorah, we will be loaded.

or better yet wamu will get in trouble and start to outsource to us.

outsource costs waaaay more than in house.

likely their downsizing is moreso a direct result of people finding services elsewhere.

you cant keep your money in your bed, so if you leave the bank you have to find another bank. its not like childrens toys that you can just do without.

wamu services come at a premium anyway, when people dont need everything they will go elsewhere.

almost all the chinese people i know do not use the banking system.. they hide their money in the homes ... but yah, who really knows. good for you, do you OWN a bank?
