For all of you out there im sure you all like to street race. I am starting a poll on weather or not street raceing should be illegal. Myself honestly I like to street race just because the track isnt open 24-7 and I meet alot of new racers just by street racing. Please leave feedback on your opinion. Thanks, Eric

 

i love to do it but i think it should be illegal...there are too many stupid people out there doing it and cant control the car and they cause wrecks and deaths of innocent people...my opinion of course...if you can race then fine but be smart about it...but the track is the best place for it...

 

I don't "street race" (read: my car is S L O W) but I'll match people to the speed limit just to mess with them... or if I'm in a buddy's car, I'll do a brake stand next to a ricer... h:

It already is illegal. It's dangerous and people die doing it. There are sanctioned locations to race at - they're called tracks. If they're not open 24-7, go tomorrow. This is the dumbest thread I think I've ever read in this forum. :down:

but what if people live in a place where the track is only open once a week during the spring and summer, what do they do about wanting to race. I know its illegal but im just trying to get peoples information on what they think about street racing. Do you do it? Have you got caught street racing? IF you do street race then why?

 

then race once a week during spring and summer. Racing in winter is dumb anyway if roads slick up. Use that time for tuning and saving up for more parts. Street racing is stupid. It's not worth losing your license, your car, your life, or much worse anyone else's life.

 

Street racing is for loosers trying to make up for what they are lacking. If you want to race keep it to the track, if the track is not open...don't race.

 

I used to street race back in the days but after seeing two very good friends die doing it and having many other people I know get into accidents etc. while racing I decided many years ago it wasn't worth the risk.

In the state I live in right now it is illegal and results in fines, loss of license, and impound of vehicle......I have too much invested in my car not to go to the track on the weekends it is open.
